The Hackers understand execution, modification, and control. They examine existing structures, discover their weaknesses, and rewrite the rules governing them.

The Cryptos understand secrecy, identity, and trust. They protect knowledge, conceal meaning, and determine who—or what—can be believed.

Each guild has developed extraordinary abilities.

Each believes its discipline comes closest to the original language.

Each has spent generations guarding its knowledge from the others.
